Pet Dental Care

Dental health is an incredibly important part of keeping your pet pain-free and healthy. Unfortunately, by the age of three, most pets show signs of periodontal disease. This is a painful condition, and can actually shorten their lifespan. But not to worry! Periodontal disease is no match for our expert veterinary team. Everything we do is done with the highest standards, and we will make sure that your pet is getting the absolute best veterinary care there is.

Everything was great and Argus was treated amazingly well. I am confident in the treatment he is going to receive. I had heard great reviews and that is why we drove from Springfield to Prairiehaven. I am certainly glad we did.

Absolutely amazing place! Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They actually care about your pet (two high anxiety dogs in my case). Very patient and will take as much time as needed to get your pet comfortable and give the best care possible.

What an awesome experience! I’ve never seen such a loving caring staff! I didn’t feel pressured at all to have certain things done that wasn’t in my budget today nor did I feel like another number waiting patiently to be called upon! The office was clean, entire staff were so genuinely sweet and thoughtful, even our cat was relaxed! It’s hard switching from a vet we’ve been going to for 10 years that I love, but since this one is closer to our home and recommended from a friend, thought we’d try it out! Couldn’t be more pleased!

We received EXCELLENT service! Our family felt very safe leaving our dog for over night care and were very pleased with the entire experience! I would highly recommend!! Definitely will be returning! Thank you!

We called with an emergency situation that our vet was unavailable to handle. Dr. Bill had us bring Hilltyn right in and treated her over his lunch hour. Everyone in the office was very friendly, professional & treated us like long time friends, not just a number. We have transferred all of Hilltyn’s care to Dr. Bill and Prairiehaven, and will highly recommend them!

What To Expect

The first step is to give us a call to schedule an oral examination!

During your pet’s exam, we will look for signs of periodontal disease, and will be able to recommend either home care or a professional cleaning. We can also answer any questions you might have.

If a cleaning is recommended, we will be able to clean beneath your pet’s gum line, where periodontal disease lives. Typically, there is an immediate reduction in the oral pain your pet feels, and a substantial boost to their prognosis.
